Charter Kennel’s JSP Rayzendacash has won five out of his last six Grade AA starts for trainer James Campbell. Kennel-mate RHT Kan Do Karla has three straight wins (C, B, A).

Blanchard Kennel’s Arkans TMC Athos has captured four out of his last five Grade AA trips for trainer Chris Maynard. Kennel-mates BNC R Rooney has won three out of his last four outings (A, AA) while About To Rock has three victories and a second in his last four races (B, A, AA).

Steve Sarras Kennel’s WW Griggsy has back-to-back wins (A, AA) for trainer Mike Holguin.

Rangel Kennel’s VJ Full Of Grace has two 3/8 victories in a row (TA, TAA) for trainer Alex Hall.

I was introduced to greyhound racing by a friend in the late 1970s at Wheeling Downs and fell in love with the sport and the athletes immediately. Throughout the years, I have developed a deep passion for racing. In the mid 1990s, I started writing a weekly greyhound column and shortly thereafter became a writer for The Greyhound Review.

I have enjoyed watching and writing about these wonderful competitors, including All-Americans DD's Nelson, Kiowa Sweet Trey, Gene's Champion, WW Apple Jax, Greys Royalcrown, Nimby TP Jan, Hi Noon Hero, Gable Sour Cream, KB's Ruckus and Cry Case.
