Blanchard Kennel’s Arma Guiness has won four out of his last five Grade TAA 3/8 races for trainer Chris Maynard. Kennel-mate Easi Utley has three straight Grade AA wins.

Charter Kennel’s JSP Rayzendacash has captured three out of his last four Grade AA trips for trainer James Campbell.

Lester Raines Kennel’s Boat Names has three victories and a second in her last four outings (C, B, A, AA) for trainer Joel Roden. Kennel-mates JS Flamin Hottie has three wins in a row (M, C, B) while JS Top Kat has back-to-back 3/8 victories (TB, TAA).

Xtrem Hess Racing Kennel’s Hell Bent has four straight wins (M, D, C, B) for trainer Jill Spicer.

Jacobs Racing Kennel’s Slatex Wine has back-to-back victories (B, A) for trainer Natale Looper.

Patriot/Taplin Kennel’s Fly Elly Hayden has two wins in a row (B, A) for trainer Cheyney Kuriata.

I was introduced to greyhound racing by a friend in the late 1970s at Wheeling Downs and fell in love with the sport and the athletes immediately. Throughout the years, I have developed a deep passion for racing. In the mid 1990s, I started writing a weekly greyhound column and shortly thereafter became a writer for The Greyhound Review.

I have enjoyed watching and writing about these wonderful competitors, including All-Americans DD's Nelson, Kiowa Sweet Trey, Gene's Champion, WW Apple Jax, Greys Royalcrown, Nimby TP Jan, Hi Noon Hero, Gable Sour Cream, KB's Ruckus and Cry Case.
