Blanchard Kennel’s Artex Pumbaa has four straight Grade AA wins for trainer Sarah Blanchard. Kennel-mate CNS Kansasthrill has back-to-back victories (A, AA).

Charter Kennel’s FGF Bodacious has three wins and a second in his last four Grade AA trips for trainer James Campbell. Kennel-mate Oshkosh Fisher has three victories in a row (C, B, A).

Jacobs Racing Kennel’s Marlyn Mason has back-to-back wins (A, AA) for trainer Louise Strong.

A Ray Kennel’s AMF Gotta Run has two victories and two seconds in his last four races (B, A) for trainer Joe Palmer.

Xtrem Hess Racing Kennel’s Axtrem Email has two wins and a second in his last three races (B, A) for trainer Jill Spicer.

Imark Kennel’s Robust Ruby has back-to-back victories (B, A) for trainer DiAnn Derr.

Steve Sarras Kennel’s Spartan Shield has won three out of his last four outings (D, C, B) for trainer Mike Holguin.

I was introduced to greyhound racing by a friend in the late 1970s at Wheeling Downs and fell in love with the sport and the athletes immediately. Throughout the years, I have developed a deep passion for racing. In the mid 1990s, I started writing a weekly greyhound column and shortly thereafter became a writer for The Greyhound Review.

I have enjoyed watching and writing about these wonderful competitors, including All-Americans DD's Nelson, Kiowa Sweet Trey, Gene's Champion, WW Apple Jax, Greys Royalcrown, Nimby TP Jan, Hi Noon Hero, Gable Sour Cream, KB's Ruckus and Cry Case.
