Double G Kennel’s Flying Okahana heads up the field for the Thursday evening, Dec. 30, final of the $100,000 Mardi Gras Championship at Tri-State Greyhound Park.
The sprinter posted three victories and a third in the early rounds to top the leaderboard with 43 points. Next in line are CET Kennels’ CET Dirty Dilly with 42 points and RS Racing Kennel’s KBJ Powerplay with 40 points.
Completing the final field are Turbo Rayo (RS Racing) and RS Felicha (Lester Raines), 37 points each; John J Rambo (RS Racing), 36 points; Fly L Donald Jr (Double G) and Superior Bonnie (Superior), 35 points each.
The championship final will be race 11 on the Thursday evening card. Post positions from the rail out follow: 1—KBJ Powerplay, 2—Turbo Rayo, 3—RS Felicha, 4—Fly L Donald Jr, 5—Flying Okahana, 6—John R Rambo, 7—CET Dirty Dilly, 8—Superior Bonnie.
