The Abrahamson Kennel pocketed two victories in the first round as the $65,000 West Virginia Greyhound Owners and Breeders Association Panhandle Championship (5/16th) kicked off Friday afternoon at Wheeling Island.
Registering opening round victories were Abrahamson Kennel’s Go On Horse and CG’s Sneaker as well as Steve Sarras Kennel’s CET Godiva and A Ray Kennel’s Rico’s Dreamer. Each accumulated 15 points to top the leader board heading into the Wednesday afternoon, Nov. 18, second round.
The semifinals will be held on Sunday afternoon, Nov. 22. The Panhandle Championship final is scheduled for Saturday matinee, Sept. 28.
