ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – LK’s Crush N It of Lashmet kennel, a 2019 All-America first-team selection, collected his 80th lifetime victory Friday at Derby Lane.

Starting from box 5 in Race 10, the 43-month-old son of LK’s Now R Never and LK’s All In broke sharply and led all the way – clocking the 550-yard Grade A event in 30.54 seconds. He finished 1-1/2 lengths in front of Nova kennel’s Deco Colt Gun.

LK’s Crush N It paid $5 as the 3-2 wagering favorite. It was his fourth attempt at reaching the milestone. He has made 122 starts for breeders and kennel owners John and Jill Lashmet of Eaton, Colo. LK’s Crush N It is trained by Ken Deacon.
