Jacobs Racing Kennel’s Kinda Cruel Red has four straight Grade AA victories for trainer Louise Strong. Kennel-mate Stars Will Shine has back-to-back wins (A, AA).

Valor Racing Kennel’s Kiowa Lover Boy has three victories and four seconds in his last seven races (A, AA) for trainer James Roche.

Brad Boeckenstedt Kennel’s L’s Ryliebobylie (AA) and Boc’s Captnbling (TAA 3/16) have back-to-back wins for trainer Chris Brill. Kennel-mate Boc’s Kickn Kate has won three out of her last four 3/8 trips (TD, TC, B).

Patriot/Taplin Kennel’s Eyes Focused has two straight Grade AA victories for trainer Joe Otto.

Steve Sarras Kennel’s Powerful Puma has back-to-back wins (A, AA) for trainer Scott Purdy.

Steubenville Kennel’s Kelsos Hottotrot has two victories in a row (A, AA) for trainer Michael Piquette.

Charter Kennel’s Soundsgooddontit has back-to-back wins (B, A) for trainer Dorothy Tober.

Clear The Way Kennel’s Dbulls Rapidfire has two straight victories (B, A) for trainer Patrick Bever.

Abrahamson Kennel’s FF Biker Becky has three wins in a row (D, C, B) for trainer Tom Engle.

I was introduced to greyhound racing by a friend in the late 1970s at Wheeling Downs and fell in love with the sport and the athletes immediately. Throughout the years, I have developed a deep passion for racing. In the mid 1990s, I started writing a weekly greyhound column and shortly thereafter became a writer for The Greyhound Review.

I have enjoyed watching and writing about these wonderful competitors, including All-Americans DD's Nelson, Kiowa Sweet Trey, Gene's Champion, WW Apple Jax, Greys Royalcrown, Nimby TP Jan, Hi Noon Hero, Gable Sour Cream, KB's Ruckus and Cry Case.
