Lester Raines Kennel’s Craigiepridenjoy has captured six out of his last seven Grade AA starts for trainer Joel Roden. Kennel-mate SE’s Solid Cash has won four out of her last five Grade TAA 3/8 races.

Abrahamson Kennel’s Braska Talula has back-to-back Grade AA victories for trainer Tom Engle.

Wayne Ward Kennel’s WW’s Lucky Chance has captured three out of her last four 3/8 outings (TA, TAA) for trainer Ron Otto

A Ray Kennel’s PJ Takeyourtime has two wins and a second in her last three trips (A, AA) for trainer Joe Palmer.

Rico Racing Kennel’s PJ Speed Ball has won three out of her last four starts (D, C, B) for trainer Melinda McCardle.

Brad Boeckenstedt Kennel’s Boc’s Johnny has captured three out of his last three races (M, D, C) for trainer Chris Brill.

I was introduced to greyhound racing by a friend in the late 1970s at Wheeling Downs and fell in love with the sport and the athletes immediately. Throughout the years, I have developed a deep passion for racing. In the mid 1990s, I started writing a weekly greyhound column and shortly thereafter became a writer for The Greyhound Review.

I have enjoyed watching and writing about these wonderful competitors, including All-Americans DD's Nelson, Kiowa Sweet Trey, Gene's Champion, WW Apple Jax, Greys Royalcrown, Nimby TP Jan, Hi Noon Hero, Gable Sour Cream, KB's Ruckus and Cry Case.
