Lester Raines Kennel’s Craigiepridenjoy has won five out of his last six Grade AA starts for trainer Joel Roden. Kennel-mates Kiowa Never Fail has captured four out of her last five races (M, D, C, B) while SE’s The League has back-to-back wins (B, A).

Clear The Way Kennel’s CTW Brass Tacks has won three out of his last four outings (A, AA) for trainer Patrick Bever.

Jacobs Racing Kennel’s Kinda Cruel Red has back-to-back Grade AA victories for trainer Louise Strong.

A Ray Kennel’s PJ Strollinnolan has three straight 3/8 wins (TC, B, TAA) for trainer Joe Palmer.

Patriot/Taplin Kennel’s GF Zelda has four victories in a row (D, C, B, A) for trainer Joe Otto. Kennel-mate Craigie Americus has three straight wins (D, C, B).

Charter Kennel’s Bartsallthatjazz has two victories and a second in her last three starts (B, A) for trainer Dorothy Tober.

Wayne Ward Kennel’s DKC Muddy Paws has captured four out of his last five trips (M, D, C, B) for trainer Ron Otto. Kennel-mate WW’s Crispin has back-to-back wins (B, A).

I was introduced to greyhound racing by a friend in the late 1970s at Wheeling Downs and fell in love with the sport and the athletes immediately. Throughout the years, I have developed a deep passion for racing. In the mid 1990s, I started writing a weekly greyhound column and shortly thereafter became a writer for The Greyhound Review.
