Steve Sarras Kennel’s Glasgow Kiss has won four out of his last five Grade AA races for trainer Mike Holguin. Kennel-mates Florentine has captured three out of her last four Grade AA trips while Spartan Shield has back-to-back Grade AA wins.

Xtrem Hess Racing Kennel’s Hell Bent has three victories and a second in his last four Grade AA outings for trainer Jill Spicer.

Charter Kennel’s JSP Hush Money has back-to-back 3/8 wins (TA, TAA) for trainer James Campbell.

Blanchard Kennel’s Ark RB Fitzpatrk has two straight victories (A, AA) for trainer Chris Maynard.

Jacobs Racing Kennel’s GLS On Demand has back-to-back 3/16 wins (TA, TAA) for trainer Natalie Looper.

Imark Kennel’s Limpopo has two victories in a row (B, A) for trainer DiAnn Derr.

I was introduced to greyhound racing by a friend in the late 1970s at Wheeling Downs and fell in love with the sport and the athletes immediately. Throughout the years, I have developed a deep passion for racing. In the mid 1990s, I started writing a weekly greyhound column and shortly thereafter became a writer for The Greyhound Review.

I have enjoyed watching and writing about these wonderful competitors, including All-Americans DD's Nelson, Kiowa Sweet Trey, Gene's Champion, WW Apple Jax, Greys Royalcrown, Nimby TP Jan, Hi Noon Hero, Gable Sour Cream, KB's Ruckus and Cry Case.
