Charter Kennel’s Barts Aviator has three straight victories (A, AA) for trainer James Campbell. Kennel-mates Barts Lone Star has won three out of his last four starts (C, B, A) while Seven Summers (A, AA 3/8) and JSP Ton O Money (B, A) have back-to-back wins.

           

Code Red Kennel’s O Ya Paws has two victories and two seconds in his last four Grade AA trips for trainer Tom Engle.

           

Lester Raines Kennel’s SNL Sir Liam has two wins and a second in his last three Grade AA outings for trainer Joel Roden. Kennel-mate SNL Karma has three straight victories (B, A, AA).

           

Imark Kennel’s Imark Grades Up has three wins in a row (B, A, AA) for trainer DiAnn Derr.

           

Wayne Ward Kennel’s Oakland Handoff has back-to-back victories (A, AA) for trainer Ron Otto.

           

Patriot/Taplin Kennel’s SHM Norio has two wins in a row (B, A) for trainer Joe Otto.

           

A Ray Kennel’s AMF Holy Halo has back-to-back victories (B, A) for trainer Joe Palmer.

           

Steve Sarras Kennel’s Dragon Rogue has captured three out of his last four races (M, D, C) for trainer Mike Holguin.

I was introduced to greyhound racing by a friend in the late 1970s at Wheeling Downs and fell in love with the sport and the athletes immediately. Throughout the years, I have developed a deep passion for racing. In the mid 1990s, I started writing a weekly greyhound column and shortly thereafter became a writer for The Greyhound Review.
