A Ray Kennel’s Mac’s Murdoch is the lone undefeated greyhound after the first two rounds of the $65,000 West Virginia Greyhound Owners and Breeders Association Keystone Championship at Wheeling Island.

Mac’s Murdoch posted his second straight victory Thursday afternoon – getting up by a nose at the wire. The 2-year-old has accumulated a leading 30 points heading into Sunday afternoon’s semifinal round.

The semifinal field will be cut to the top 16 middle distance greyhounds. The championship final is scheduled for Saturday matinee, Nov. 23.

Other second round winners were Mac’s Trudeaux (A Ray Kennel), CET Little Razz (Steve Sarras Kennel) and CET Hellen Ann (Steve Sarras Kennel).

Next in line behind Mac’s Murdoch in points are Mac’s Trudeaux, CET Hellen Ann and RS’s Buckeyebuck (Lester Raines Kennel) with 25 points each. CET Sassy (Steve Sarras Kennel) has 22 points.
