Beautiful and historic Derby Lane in St. Petersburg Florida is America's premier Greyhound Racing facility offering year-round live championship racing six days a week along with Thoroughbred, Harness, Jai-Alai and other Florida Greyhound simulcasts. The new $2.5M Poker room is open seven-days a week where players can also watch the live races while playing poker.

 

The five-tier Derby Club restaurant offers an exquisite panoramic view of the live action races and the best buffet in the bay. Legends were born at Derby Lane including greyhound racing's Triple Crown winners Dominator, Cayman Went and Flying Coal City along with Keefer. Derby Lane is also home to the only Greyhound Racing facility in the world to host two of the biggest greyhound races in the history of the sport. The Derby Lane Million was featured in 2006 and 2007 and paid $500,000 to the first place female Greys Calibrater that won in 2006 and to the male Flying Stanley in 2007. The purse is the richest winning purse to date in the history of the sport world-wide.

 

Derby Lane offers ample seating outside and several small restaurants and concessions throughout the facility. The family owned and operated racetrack was founded in 1925 and continues to be an industry leader featured in over 350 simulcast sites world wide.
