WezinEville wins the 2011 $10,000 World Series of Greyhound Handicapping

Big JackPot Betting is proud to announce that WezinEville won the 2011 $10,000 World Series of Greyhound Handicapping which was held December 17^th & 18^th.

Hundreds of handicappers competed in qualifying tournaments that were held over the past twelve months. The World Series was a field of sixteen that emerged from these qualifying events. For two days the contenders handicapped 16 races that encompassed various tracks and distances. The event was held live at www.bigjackpotbetting.com.

At the end of Round 1 the top eight finishers moved on to the Finals. The elite eight were: Wezineville, BobHabe, PuppyPalace, Mike, Racecaller, MarylandBobby, KC'sKevin & Pup. 

The Finals brought lots of twists and turns in the leader board and going into the last race Bobhabe had a narrow margin. Wez was on his tail and pulled out the win when in the 4^th race of the evening card at Mardi Gras – Alexandrus running from the 2 hole pulled out an impressive upset over one of the favorites Superior Dancer. Alexandrus paid $27.40 to win and boomeranged Wez into the lead and the title.
