Federal trial date for Harry Marshall Rae, originally scheduled for Dec. 19, has been moved to Jan. 23, 2012, in U.S. District Court, Southern District of West Virginia, in Charleston.

Federal trial date for Harry Marshall Rae, originally scheduled for Dec. 19, has been moved to Jan. 23, 2012, in U.S. District Court, Southern District of West Virginia, in Charleston.

Rae, who is accused of hatching an extortion plot targeting West Virginia Gov.-elect Earl Ray Tomblin, has been continued by the court until the latter date following a request by Rae's attorney for more time to conduct further investigation.
