Tali tallies again
SE's Tali Aspen, NGA Spring Meet phenom, captured her third straight 3/8 win at Wheeling on Friday afternoon.
Tali Aspen won the race handily by 2 lengths, taking charge early to post a 38.16 time.
Terry Scott's auction buy, a daughter of Kiowa WW Brother-Time For A Party, ran her record to 4-2-0-1 in 9 starts. She's made a nice comeback following an injury and layoff at her maiden season at Tri-State that saw her charge from maiden ranks to the top-grade in an impressive manner. She's just now re-finding the winning groove--and a new comfort zone over the 3/8 distance--at Wheeling.
SE's Tali Aspen was the top auction sale last spring ($35,000), having won her main-stake for then-owners Steve Ward and Penny Wick.
