The final Sire and Dam Standings for 2011 have been released by the NGA and Greyhound Review, and are viewable under the News and Reports Section in the right column of this website.

Kiowa Sweet Trey could be dubbed the "comeback kid" amongst America's leading sires, having taking the Sire Standing title in 2007 and 2008 and now again in 2011. He finished third in 2010  and was second in 2009 (both years won by Dodgem By Design). For Sweet Trey, 2011 was a milestone year, not only because he won his third sire title, but because it was the year he was inducted into the Greyhound Hall Of Fame, both for his sire prowess and championship racing talents.

Sweet Trey, the late son of Oswald Cobblepot-TM's Sweet Dream, is owned by Hall of Famers Vince Berland and Kay Smith.

Finishing second on the standings, just 99 wins back, in 2011 was two-time defending champ Dodgem By Design. Owned by Charter Kennel, Inc., Dodgem was a son of Gable Dodge-Cruzin By Design.

In third was Lonesome Cry (also owned by Charter), who was runnerup in 2010. Lonesome Cry's parentage is Gable Dodge-Jabberin Jackie.

Kiowa Sweet Trey, Dodgem By Design and Lonesome Cry have been the only names in the top Trifecta of the Sire Standings the last three years.

On the Dam Standings, G. Kirk Harlan's Slatex Station was an all-alone winner, with her offspring accumulating 156 wins at the larger tracks in 2011. Slatex Station (WW Apple Jax-Slate Shell) was led by a terrific litter by Kiowa Sweet Trey and distance-stake winner Slatex Cadillac (by Flying Hydrogen). Slatex Emerald was the best of the very deep Sweet Trey litter, taking the Bluffs Run track title with 36 wins for the year.

Second on the Dam Standings with 86 points is former All-American Gable Vermilion (2002), who won the standings championship in 2010. Offspring Rico's Vermilion was Tri-State track champion in 2011 with 24 victories, despite a length time off from injury. Gable Vermilion is owned by Ricardo Pacheco and is by Gable Dodge-Seegold Panache.

Tied for third on the standings, with 69 points each are M's Mary Freeman and RK's Tomb Raider. M's Mary Freeman (NR's Fast Eddie-Arrow Back Annie) is owned by M.G. Porter. RK's Tomb Raider (San Tan Savage-Ms. Patch) is owned by Ronald and Kurt Phillips.
