West Palm Beach, Fl. - Royal Racing Team Kennel’s Ethereal Moment proved to all in attendance that he is of this world, as the youngster handily won the 14th running of Palm Beach Kennel Club’s $20,000 Dick Andrews Futurity Monday afternoon, December 26.

        Ethereal Moment took advantage of his post position and a crowded break, to enter the backstretch all but unchallenged.

        Once he assumed command of the situation, it was all she wrote.

        The Ethereal One drew off to win by more than six lengths in a 545-yard Royal Palm Classic clocking of 29.81 seconds and returned a healthy $7.60 to his many happy supporters.

        The victory brings Ethereal Moment’s career stats to 25-9-7-3-5, having finished out of the top four only once.

        The newly-crowned champ collected a cool $10,000 for his impressive victory.

        Flying Antioch, Par Sandy and Night Utah finished second, third and fourth, respectively.

2^nd - 7. Flying Antioch (Trojan Cruze - Flying Crestline, Steve Gilster)

3^rd - 1. Par Sandy (BD’s Flip - Husker Grace, Tru Palm Kennel)

4^th - 2. Night Utah (Dragon Fire - TDM Sadie, Marsella Racing)

5^th - 6. Kells Audacious (Team Record* - Too Late, Rader Racing)

6^th - 4.  SE’s Star Leia (TNT Star Wars - Ozsum Flyby, Arthur Agganis)

7^th - 3. Turbo Porsha (Turbo Penske - Turbo Wind Burn, Rader Racing)

8^th - 5. KB’s Decordova (Lonesome Cry - Tempo Jitterstik, Tru Palm)

         The Futurity is named in honor of former PBKC kennel operator, humanitarian and 2004 inductee to the Greyhound Hall of Fame Dick Andrews.

         In other Futurity day news, Rader Racing Kennel’s Turbo Razor (Kiowa Sweet Trey - Turbo Wind Blown) cruised to his 12th consecutive victory, winning by 6 lengths in a time of 29.72 seconds, and returning an expected $2.80 to all who knew better than to wager against one of the hottest greyhounds in the country.

        The victory was Turbo Razor’s 36^th win of the year.
