Dick Andrews Futurity into semis at PBKC

West Palm Beach, Fl. - The fourth and final round of qualifying for Palm Beach Kennel Club’s $20,000 Dick Andrews Futurity takes place Monday afternoon, December 19.

        Entering the semifinal round, two greyhounds are tied with the lead in earned qualifying points: Rader Racing Kennel’s Turbo Porsha and Arthur Agganis Kennel’s SE’s Star Leia. Both athletes scored two wins and a second during the first three rounds.

        By the luck of the drawn, both leading point earners will face off against each other in Monday afternoon’s 14th race.

        The complete lineup of Monday’s two semifinal events:

 Race 12

1. Atascocita Gilma (Lonesome Cry - Atascocita Nell, Atascocita Racing)

2. Palm City Pamela (Dodgem By Design - DB’s Annabella, B & B Racing)

3. Flying Ashford (Trojan Cruze - Flying Crestline, Steve Gilster Kennel)

4. Ethereal Moment (Rhythmless - PTL Lois, Royal Racing)

5. Par Sandy (BD’s Flip - Husker Grace, Tru Palm Kennel)

6. Kells Audacious (Team Record* - Too Late, Rader Racing)

7. Flying Antioch (Trojan Cruze - Flying Crestline, Steve Gilster)

8. Ballys Kiley (Kelsos Fusileer - Bohemian Brash, Tru Palm Kennel)

Race 14

1. Go Bon Goodness (Kiowa Sweet Trey - Go Bon Sugarland, Royal Racing)

2. Sogar (Dragon Fire - Molly, Steve Gilster)

3. Night Utah (Dragon Fire - TDM Sadie, Marsella Racing)

4. KB’s Decordova (Lonesome Cry - Tempo Jitterstik, Tru Palm)

5. Turbo Porsha (Turbo Penske - Turbo Wind Burn, Rader Racing)

6. Lookin For Leahy (Switzler Jammin - KB’s Autumn Dove, Rader Racing)

7. SE’s Star Leia (TNT Star Wars - Ozsum Flyby, Arthur Agganis)

8. Purely Awesome (Rhythmless - Bohemian Jolie, Tru Palm Kennel 

        The top eight point earners following Monday’s semifinals will advance to the $20,000 Dick Andrews Futurity Championship Monday afternoon, December 26.

         Post positions will be drawn in the Racing Office Tuesday afternoon.

        The Futurity is named in honor of former PBKC kennel operator, humanitarian and 2004 inductee to the Greyhound Hall of Fame Dick Andrews.

Point System: 1st - 15 points, 2nd - 10, 3rd - 6, 4th - 4, 5th - 3, 6th - 2, 7th - 1, 8th - 0
