A ‘Wow’ of a November has the Plum Creek Kennel in firm command of the leaderboard at Bluffs Run.

Plum Creek’s greyhound produced an amazing 55 victories in November, 22 more than any other kennel. The feat allowed Plum Creek to amass $117,695.25 in earnings in November. That pushed the kennel over $1 million ($1,007,783.25) for the year.

The 55 wins gave Plum Creek a 30-win lead over Boeckenstedt (411-5.-381.5) for the year.

Time Release, 4-3-1-0, Lucky Lad, 4-3-0-0 and Do Hicky, 3-2-1-0, led the Plum Creek effort.

The Hardison Kennel had a solid month with 33 wins. The greyhound of the month, Kosugi, led Hardison with a 6-4-0-1 record, the only greyhound to win four races in November at Bluffs Run.

The Harlan Brothers was third with 31 wins behind Killer Smart at 5-3-0-1.

Other top greyhounds in the month were Mamas Gary Lam (Bean & Stout), 3-3-0-0; L’s Hey Reb (Boeckenstedt), 4-3-0-0 and KL’s Erin (Legg), 5-3-0-0.

Going into December, Slatex Emerald (Harlan Brothers) has the track win championship well in hand with a 54-35-12-2 record. P’s Gibbs (Petzold) sits second at 45-27-6-6.

Highlighting the December schedule is the final round of the $60,000 Kennel Championship. It is set for Saturday, Dec. 17 with entries due Wednesday, Dec. 14.

Boeckenstedt leads the chase with 377 points. Its magic number to clinch the title is 23 points. Bean & Stout has 339 points and Plum Creek has 337.
